Feb. 8, 2007 - ABUJA, Nigeria - Nigeria, Benin and Togo formed a new regional body aimed at fast-tracking the integration of the economies of the three west African neighbours.

The body, known as the Co-Prosperity Alliance Zone (COPAZ), was formally inaugurated following a mini-summit of Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo, Beninois President Boni Yayi and Togolese President Faure Gnassingbe.

An organization that would promote the very rich Nigerian culture through various social activities at Rensselaer. To provide an orientation point to first year Nigerian students at Rensselaer. To promote the ongoing Renaissance at Rensselaer to Nigerian Rensselaer Alumni and Nigerian community at large. Demonstrate diversification in the Rensselaer community.

Programs & activities: shows with other organizations, international show, showcase with other groups, international food showcase, movie nights, invite guest speakers, new student’s orientation.
